Leblanc Illuminations Canada established itself in Canada in 2007 and since then, our expertise has mainly served municipalities, businesses, and shopping centers during the winter season. But our know-how extends far beyond! We highlight buildings, parks, streets, public spaces, and special events whether permanently, during the summer or during festivities.

LEBLANC IS COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Energy savings

Since 1996, Leblanc Illuminations favors technologies that consume little electricity, such as LED, which allows an energy saving of 70%, for a light output and a lifespan much longer than a conventional bulb. Leblanc Illuminations provides each of its customers with a personalized energy assessment allowing them to know the detailed electrical consumption of the light sets and we illuminate them.

Recycling of materials

Leblanc Illuminations ensures that recycling is optimal for all materials used, at all stages of the life cycle of light decorations. Aluminum, paper, cardboard, films packaging and wooden pallets are recycled and sent to the recycling center. This waste will become secondary raw materials which will be reintegrated in the production cycle.

Carbon offsetting

Leblanc Illuminations is actively participating in a carbon offsetting program aimed at replanting trees in the Mediterranean forest of Sainte-Victoire near of Aix-en-Provence and in the Mata Atlântica rainforest in Brazil, labeled "World Biosphere Reserve" by UNESCO. For each order, Leblanc Illuminations neutralizes the CO2 emissions produced by the light decorations during their use, for a period of 1 year. An energy consumption of 2300 W is equivalent to planting a tree. Developed by EcoAct and supported by the United Nations Environment Program, this program has already enabled Leblanc Illuminations to plant 4,500 trees.

Eco-friendly gestures

Leblanc Illuminations is rethinking its daily consumption and adopting sustainable eco-gestures. Thus, the catalogs are printed in France, by certified providers Imprim’Vert, guaranteeing the management of hazardous waste in approved channels. Catalogs are printed on PEFC certified paper, that is to say from forests sustainably managed.
