Environmental commitments across all Leblanc Illuminations Group subsidiaries

We are proud to announce the renewal of our CSR 26000 label until 2027, with a major step forward this year: the award of the Gold level by Apave Certification.

The Leblanc Illuminations family's commitment to the environment has spanned the globe for many years, and recently the parent company received significant recognition in the area of sustainable development. It is with great pride that we announce the renewal of our Apave RSE 26000 certification until 2027, with a major step forward this year: we have reached Gold level, a high distinction awarded by Apave Certification.  

This recognition pays tribute to our deep-rooted and lasting commitment tocorporate social responsibility(CSR). It attests to our ability to integrate social, environmental and ethical dimensions into all our activities. 

CSR 26000 Gold certification: concrete recognition of our commitment to sustainability at every level.

What is CSR 26000 certification? 

TheCSR 26000label assesses the maturity of a company's CSR approach in preventing thesocial, economic and environmental risksto which its employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders are increasingly attentive. Achieving Gold level status means demonstratingexcellencein each of these areas. 

A collective success 

This success is above all the fruit of acollective commitment. Thanks to the mobilization of all our teams, their daily involvement and their willingness to act responsibly, we have reached a new milestone in our CSR approach.

Leblanc illuminations, a committed and responsible company 

The first company in its sector to be certified ISO 9001 in 2014 and a member of the Coq Vert communityfor aglobal acceleration of the environmental and energy transitionsince 2022, Leblanc illuminations is also committed to the NGOWeForestin acarbon offset and sequestrationprogram, supporting reforestation and ecological restoration projects tocombat climate change

In 2024, Leblanc illuminations announced the remarkable results of itscarbon footprint, witha 43% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. 

Impact on the Canadian subsidiary 

Such a strong commitment to sustainable development is bound to have an impact on all the Group's subsidiaries, especially Leblanc Illuminations-Canada. Indeed, environmental values are shared by all subsidiaries, and each of them adheres to them and commits to different actions according to the environmental concerns of each host country. At Leblanc Illuminations-Canada, our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our business activities is reflected in a series of concrete actions taken on a daily basis, as summarized below: 

💡 Energy saving 

  • 100% of sets are equipped with LED lights, reducing energy consumption by up to 70% compared with conventional incandescent bulbs. 

  • We can provide each customer with a personalized energy balance, for total transparency on plant consumption. 

  • Systematic reduction of paper printing by promoting the use of digital documents in all areas of operations. 

🔁 Recycling and reuse 

  • Systematic recycling of materials used in manufacturing and logistics processes, such as aluminum, copper, paper, cardboard, plastic film, pallet wood, etc. 

  • Reuse existing structures (aluminum or galvanized steel) to create new decors with less environmental impact. 

♻️ Eco-design and sustainable materials 

  • Use of flexible decorative materials(Mellow), composed of 70% recycled materials, resistant to UV, extreme temperatures and fully recyclable, developed and manufactured by arobotized 3D printing process by the parent company in France.  

  • Use of rigid decorative materials(Rainbow), composed of 70% recycled materials, resistant to UV, extreme temperatures and fully recyclable, developed and manufactured by arobotized 3D printing process by the parent company in France.  

📦 Waste reduction and ecogestures 

  • Catalogs printed in France on PEFC-certified paper by Imprim'Vert printers, with a significant reduction in print runs in favor of digital. 

  • Reconditioning of sets, with the option of redesigning them to give them a second life. 

 

This CSR 26000 Gold certification is much more than a simple achievement: it represents concrete proof of our coherent, ambitious and shared approach to sustainable development.
