Energy Savings

Since 1996, Leblanc Illuminations has been focusing on energy-efficient technologies such as LEDs, which save up to 70% on energy consumption, while delivering higher light output and longer life than conventional bulbs.

Leblanc Illuminations provides each of its customers with a personalized energy report, giving details of the power consumption of the lighting decorations on offer.

Recycling and Reuse of Materials

Leblanc Illuminations recycles all the materials used at every stage in the life cycle of its light displays. Whether it's aluminum structures, copper garlands, paper, cardboard, packaging film or wooden pallets, all these materials are recycled and sent to a processor who gives them a second life.

Indeed, it is now possible to reuse existing aluminum or galvanized steel structures by making some modifications or recreating new illuminated designs. This new eco-responsible service makes it possible to offer decorative concepts at a low cost, from structures brought up to date.

Carbon offsetting

Groupe Leblanc Illuminations is actively involved in a carbon-offset program to replant trees in the Sainte-Victoire Mediterranean forest near Aix-en-Provence and in the Mata Atlântica rainforest in Brazil, designated a "World Biosphere Reserve" by UNESCO.

For each new order, Leblanc Illuminations neutralizes the CO2 emissions produced by the lights during use, for a period of 1 year. An energy consumption of 2300 W is equivalent to planting one tree. Developed by EcoAct and supported by the United Nations Environment Programme, Leblanc Illuminations has planted a staggering 4,500 trees.

Eco-friendly practices

Leblanc Illuminations is rethinking its daily consumption and adopting sustainable eco-actions. For example, our catalogs are printed in France by Imprim'Vert-certified service providers, guaranteeing that hazardous waste is managed through approved channels. The catalogs are printed on PEFC-certified paper, i.e. from sustainably managed forests. Year on year, the number of printed catalogs is falling sharply, while digital transmission of catalogs is becoming increasingly popular.
